DONATE AN ARTIFACT

The Vermont Veterans Militia Museum and Library collects artifacts that relate to the history and people of Vermont and the United States Military. The museum relies primarily on individual donations from private citizens. The collection include more than 100,000 artifacts ranging from military uniforms to tanks to unique paintings/photos.

Artifact selection is based on the following criteria:

  • The artifact must pertain to Vermont or Military history;

  • The artifact must fall within the museum's mission and its collection;

  • The artifact condition must be acceptable for potential exhibit use and;

  • The museum must be able to properly store and provide long-term care for the item.
