USS Pueblo Display

The museum has a wonderful display showing the history of the USS Pueblo. This ship was highjacked by the North Koreans in 1968. The vessel has never been returned to the USA and still sits in North Korea.

The Pueblo was of special interest to Vermont because of the fact that two of the sailors on board were from Vermont. See image three below.

<p stRead More...

Museum Front Clean Up with New Stone

Below you will find a series of pictures that show Marcelino Machinery Corporation laying down a layer of crushed stone around the front of the museum. This really cleans up the look of the museum and helps keep the front much cleaner, both better looking and physically much more crisp and easier to maintain.

Our sincere appreciation to Marcelino Machinery Corporation for assisting us in this endeavor.

<img src="http://www.vermontmilitarymuseum.com/images/PA240406.Read More...

We have placed a new monument at the front of our museum which is dedicated to all veterans. It was donated to us by Camp Meade in Middlesex Vt. Rich Blais, one of our volunteers, coordinated with the 131st Engineers to pick it up on a flat bed and had it placed at it's current location.

The Civil War Soldier on top was also repaired by Rich Blais. As you can see from the images the repair was quite extensive and time consuming.

I (Bernie Phenning, Pres.) wroRead More...
